Have you ever been out and about and your device died, yet your surrounded by people with charged devices? Why not take a smidge or two from their device(s) to bring yours back to life via a wired and or wireless connection?
I was recently at an outdoor event where my device died and I was surrounded by tons of people with powered devices. I mentioned to a guy next to me that there should be a phone case that lets me leech power from other devices... then and there LEECH was born.
The impetus of the idea wasn't only prompted by my own personal need, but by an outlandish opportunity that knocked on my door. That day I found myself at a random startup event to meet with prospective teammates for a once in a lifetime opportunity. Upon meeting I pitched them the idea and later we pitched it to an entity out in California.
Overall, there's a lot more to this story and I am excited to hopefully be able to blog it about within the next six to seven months. Also, I am excited to buy and use a LEECH case one day. The world needs handy/innovative ways to power their devices!

In Sept. 2015 producers of a new Mark Burnett (creator of Survivor, The Voice, Shark Tank, etc) sent a few emails saying we love your previous inventions(i.e. SpeakerBlast) and think you should auditon for our new maker show, America's Greatest Makers.
Opportunities like these do not knock often, so after a lot of back and forth a team I put together quickly and myself pursued it. There was a million dollar prize and the potential promise of fulfilling one of my pie in the sky dreams (professional inventor).
Well six months after going through many interviews, flying out to where it was filmed and auditioning we are excited to say the show has finished airing!
It was a great experience to participate in a reality show (albeit briefly). We got to pitch our much needed phone case that charges your phone by resting on other devices and the producers could not have been more excited by it.
